Sheriff: Man threatened to kill everyone at party with underage drinkers

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Knox County Sheriff's deputies arrested two adults and a juvenile at a party Sunday.

The deputies responded to a complaint of a man with a gun, who was threatening to kill everyone at a party in Corbin.

After investigating, they arrested 22-year-old Shaquille Lavarius Williams of London. Deputies said he fought back and assaulted an officer.

Williams is charged with eight counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, third-degree escape, third-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree terroristic threatening, menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct. Deputies took him to the Knox County Detention Center.

While at the party, authorities learned that juveniles were there drinking alcohol. The host of the party, 20-year-old Jordan Smith of Corbin, was cited and charged with six counts of unlawful transaction with a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A juvenile at the party was also charged with possession of marijuana.
