Sheriff: Man left crash scene because he did not have a driver's license

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - In Laurel County, a man was arrested after police said he was involved in a hit-and-run.

The Laurel County Sheriff said 55-year-old James Burdine was arrested on Monday.

He told police the reason he left the scene of the crash was that he did not have a driver's license, insurance or registration.

Burdine is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, among others.
