LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A man is behind bars after he allegedly held a knife to a Walmart employee's neck Tuesday morning.
Laurel County Sheriff's deputies responded to a fight at the Walmart in southern Laurel County. They said Brad M. Lovitt, 23, of Williamsburg was arguing with the mother of his child, who also happened to be a Walmart employee.
The store manager tried to remove Lovitt from the store when he allegedly assaulted the manager. Authorities said another employee tried to pull Lovitt off the manager when he pulled out a knife and held it to the employee's neck.
Deputies said Lovitt threatened to kill everyone there before running away.
Williamsburg Police found him and brought him to the deputies, who charged him with three counts of third-degree terroristic threatening, fourth-degree and second-degree assault and first-degree wanton endangerment.
He was taken to the Laurel County Detention Center.
