Sheriff: Clay County woman tried to sell drugs along highway

CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Clay County Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman Friday morning on drug charges.

Deputies got a call around 8:00 a.m. of a woman trying to sell drugs on South Hwy. 421.

When they arrived they found Nancy Reid, 32, of Manchester walking along the road.

Deputies said Reid was intoxicated. They searched her and found a baggie of meth and drug paraphernalia.

Reid was charged with public intoxication, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
