(WYMT) - As temperatures drop some of the remaining moisture could turn into a few snow showers overnight.
Tonight and Tomorrow
Scattered rain chances continue as we head into the overnight hours and with temperatures dropping into the upper 20s to lower 30s some of those showers could transition into snow.
A few snow showers will continue into Monday morning leading to some light accumulation. We do not expect widespread issues, but some slick spots are possible early Monday morning. As far as totals, it looks like a light coating at best. We have been very soggy the past couple of days so it will be difficult for snow to stick.
Highs for your Monday will be in the mid-30s with overnight lows dropping into the low to mid-20s so bundle up tomorrow!
Tuesday and Wednesday, high pressure will take over and bring back mostly sunny skies! Highs will be back in the 40s with overnight lows in the low to mid-30s.
Rain chances return Thursday as a disturbance moves through the mountains and into Friday.
Another system moves into the mountains by the weekend possibly bringing a wintry mix. Of course, it is too early to know any details right now. We will continue to monitor it and keep you updated online, on air, on social media, and on the WYMT Weather App.
