(WYMT) - Scattered showers continue tonight with what looks to be a nice and warm day Sunday.
Overnight, we will hold onto a few more rain chances with a 50% chance of rain. Overnight lows will stay mild with temperatures in the low-mid 50s. Patchy dense fog will be possible once again. Give yourself a few extra minutes if you need to be out tonight or even Sunday morning.
A stray shower chance will be possible Sunday morning. I think those chances stay at 20% before 9 a.m. After that, we should see decreasing cloud cover and a nice end to the weekend. Sunday will actually feature highs in the mid to upper 60's. Get out and enjoy it because this upcoming work week looks cold and wet.
A dry cold front will move through Monday morning. This frontal boundary will reinforce the cold shot of air back into the mountains. Highs will drop into the lower 50s for highs on Monday with rain and snow chances arriving Monday night. It might be hard to see accumulation on Monday night, due to the warm weekend. We will keep an eye on that over the weekend.
Tuesday will feature even colder temperatures with additional chances for rain and snow. Highs on Tuesday will reach the upper 30s to lower 40s. By this point, we will keep our eye out for some minor accumulations. Once again, it's too early to tell.
It's going to be a busy week next week. Stay updated with the WYMT Weather Team for the latest information.
