Los Angeles, Ca. (WYMT) Former Wildcat and current Los Angeles Laker DeMarcus Cousins reportedly tore his ACL during a workout.
Shams Charania of The Athletic first reported the news.
During the summer Cousins inked a deal with the L.A. Lakers which paired him with another former Cat, Anthony Davis, plus Lebron James. With the trio, the Lakers hoped to rebuild the franchise into a title contender.
Cousins has taken his lumps during the past two years. First, he tore his Achilles in January 2018, forcing him to miss an entire year. Then earlier this year he tore his left quad but was able to return to the court for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals.
