LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - President Donald Trump is coming back to Kentucky.
Gov. Matt Bevin's campaign announced Monday the president is traveling to Louisville Aug. 21 to headline a fundraiser for the governor's re-election campaign.
Bevin for Governor Campaign Manager Davis Paine said Gov. Bevin is thankful for the president's friendship and strong support.
"The Trump-Bevin economy has created 55,000 jobs, leading to the lowest unemployment in Kentucky history," Paine said in a statement.
Paine said the governor is also looking forward to continuing to work together with President Trump to move Kentucky forward.
Later Monday, we learned that the President will also address the American Veterans 75th National Convection in Louisville on Aug. 21.
