Police make drug trafficking arrest after traffic stop in Wayne County

MONTICELLO, Ky. (WYMT) - One man was arrested after police found a variety of drugs and paraphernalia after stopping him for a traffic violation.

A Facebook post from the Monticello Police Department said that Dustin Dodd, 25, was stopped Saturday afternoon after officers spotted him running a stop sign at the intersection of Bertram Street and Fair Street.

Police say they found meth and other drugs during the roadside investigation, along with glass pipes, needles and scales.

Dodd is charged with trafficking in controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and multiple traffic violations.

He is in the Wayne County Detention Center.
