PINEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Pineville Police Department arrested an Evarts woman Friday morning after police said she admitted to possessing drugs and illegal firearms.

Police said Kristen Moses, 29, of Evarts, was a passenger in a truck that police pulled over.

Bell County Dispatch confirmed to police that Moses had a warrant for her arrest and that she was also a convicted felon.

Moses told police she wanted to be honest with them about several illegal firearms, drugs and a large amount of cash she had on her.

Police said they found a large amount of crystal-like substance believed to be meth in her purse and a clear baggy with marijuana in it.

The meth weighed more than 70 grams. Police also seized more than $1,600 in cash.

Moses had a firearm on her right side, police said. Police also found four more firearms in her possession.

Police discovered one of the firearms, a highpoint nine-millimeter pistol, under the passenger seat. That firearm was reported stolen, police said.

Moses told police that all of the firearms in the truck belonged to her.

Police arrested Moses and charged her with first-degree trafficking in meth, trafficking in marijuana, possessing drug paraphernalia, five counts of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and receiving stolen property.

Moses was taken to the Bell County Detention Center.
