Police: Two arrested in London for identity theft

Police in London arrested two people Monday and charged them with identity theft, among other things.

Police arrested Destiny Bullard, age 20 and Dustin Lewis, age 21 after an ongoing investigation into identity theft.

Police allege that the two used a computer to change information, steal someone's identity and transfer $7,500 into their own accounts.

According to police, neither Bullard nor Lewis had the victim's permission to access those accounts.

Dustin Dewayne Lewis of Corbin is charged with theft of identity of another without consent and theft by unlawful taking – $500 or more but under $10,000.

Destiny Bullard of Corbin is charged with theft of identity of another without consent and theft by unlawful taking – $500 or more but under $10,000.

They are both being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.

Other arrests are expected in the case.
