POWELL CO., Ky. (WYMT/WKYT) - Powell County officials have searched for a missing man for months and need the public's help to find him.
Roy Lane Jr. went missing March 12.
Police got a tip during the weekend leading to the possible location of Lane's remains, but they did not find anything.
"Right now we are treating this as a missing persons case until we have evidence otherwise," said Deputy Eddie Barnes. "If he is deceased, it will become a homicide or missing persons case."
Anyone with information about Lane's disappearance is asked to call the Powell County Sheriff's Office at 606-663-2226.
The Powell County Search and Rescue Team is also involved in the search for Lane.
A $500 reward is up for information leading to Lane.
