CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Deputies with the Clay County Sheriff's Department arrested a man Saturday after police said he threatened neighbors and admitted to injecting meth.

Deputies arrested Jeffery Petty John, 48, of Whites Branch Road and charged him with public intoxication of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree terroristic threatening.

The sheriff's department said deputies were responding to a complaint of a disorderly man at a neighbor's house threatening to harm people.

Deputies said they found Petty John under the influence.

Petty John admitted to police he had injected meth earlier and showed police track marks on his body.

Petty John was taken to the Clay County Detention Center.
