Update: Police arrest man in connection to shooting near UK's campus

Lexington police arrested Jarrin Lee Davis and charged him with first-degree assault and first-degree robbery.

Witnesses say two men wearing bandanas made their way into the apartment. Police say Davis was one of those men.

Police are still searching for the second suspect.

one man was taken to the hospital after a shooting early Thursday morning near the University of Kentucky campus in Lexington.

It happened at about 6 a.m. on Rose Street, near East Maxwell Street.

Police tell WKYT it appears the victim was shot several times and has life-threatening injuries. We are told they are looking for multiple suspects.

At this point, officers have not made any arrests and are still trying to piece together what happened.
