Pike County woman now missing seven years

PIKE COUNTY, Ky (WYMT) - A Pike County family is still searching for a loved one who vanished several years ago.

Crystal Branham Hall went missing in March of 2009.

The last time anyone spoke to Crystal Branham Hall was on the phone while she was at her home on Kentucky Avenue in Pikeville.

A friend said Hall told them someone was at the backdoor, no one has heard from her since.

"We search different hillsides and stuff like that or I'll talk to people," said Myrtle "Sue" Rasnake, Hall's aunt.

Seven years later, Hall's aunt and grandmother want answers.

"I beg somebody to tell us just any little thing that would help us maybe to find her," added Myrtle Branham, Hall's grandmother.

It is not only those two who are asking what happened, Hall's three sons want to know where she is, too.

"The oldest one, on the tenth, he'll be 13 years old. He has asked already for his mama, but that's not a gift I can give," Branham added.

Raising her great-grandsons since Hall's disappearance, Branham struggles to explain where their mom is.

She keeps Hall's memory alive while they wait for answers.

"She was very family oriented, a very happy girl," Rasnake adds.
