Overturned semi slows down traffic along I-75

A semi overturned in Laurel County impacted traffic Thursday morning.

Officials say one of the northbound lanes of I-75 is closed after a truck driver tried to avoid hitting a deer. It happened just before 8 a.m. near the London exit.

The driver of the truck does not have any injuries.

The interstate was down to one lane for a few hours. All lanes are back open now.
