HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Sunshine will be around today after yet another cool morning. Enjoy today. It's the last one we'll see in the 70s for a bit.
Thursday and Friday
A mostly pleasant day is ahead with highs in the upper 70s with sunny skies. Today is our completely dry day. Those will be few and far between soon. Look for partly cloudy skies tonight as lows drop into the low 50s in the valleys and low 60s on the ridges.
Friday brings the heat back into play. Sunny skies continue, but the rain chances head back up, at least a little. HIghs will be in the mid-80s with lows in the mid-60s.
We finally have some good news for the weekend forecast! A few scattered rain chances possible Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be warm with temperatures in the mid-80s both days. I wouldn't be surprised to see an isolated upper 80-degree reading. It will be humid, so keep the water and sunscreen handy if you plan to be outside a lot.
Lows will be in the mid to upper 60s.
The daily rain chances will continue into next week. We could see a system move in Monday, ramping those up just a little. We'll keep you posted.
