Officials are warning about counterfeit tickets ahead of Kentucky's big game

LEXINGTON, KY. (WYMT) - The ESPN College Gameday crew is set to roll back into Lexington.

With Kentucky fans eager to upset top-ranked Tennessee in front of a sold-out crowd, Saturday's matchup is Kentucky's second home sell-out of the season and UK Athletics officials are warning people to watch out for counterfeit tickets.

"Such as wiring money, that's a no-no. Using some kind of pre-loa ded gift card to pay for it. That's also a big red flag. These are ways that you will lose your money and you can't recover them if it turns out the tickets are bad," said Heather Clay, the communications director with the Better Business Bureau for Central and Eastern Kentucky.

UK Athletics encourages fans to download your mobile tickets to your Apple wallet or Google Play account before you get to Rupp Arena to avoid any connectivity issues.
