Savannah Spurlock's family offers $15,000 reward for information about disappearance

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - More than five months later, the family of a missing Madison County mother is still holding onto hope they will find out what happened to her.

Thursday, volunteers installed tip boxes around Garrard County - the last place Savannah Spurlock was seen. She disappeared in January.

Surveillance photos show her leaving downtown Lexington with three men. No one has seen or heard from her since that night.

"Just imagine it being your daughter or your sister or anyone in your family. You would want someone to do the right thing," said Kim Gipson as she helped install tip boxes.

Volunteers said the tip boxes are in areas that will not be recorded by surveillance cameras.

The family is now offering a $15,000 reward for the first tip leading to her safe return or her recovery. This reward will not expire, unlike the first reward that expired in May.

Spurlock's mother said as time goes on she is less optimistic of how this will end.

"But I know she is in a better place, if she is not here. Not suffering. Looking down at us as we are taking care of her kids," said Ellen Spurlock.
