MARTIN COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT)- Martin County schools new superintendent started his work Friday.
Larry James has worked in the Martin County school system for 22 years.
James said he has lots of goals set for the school system and is excited to work with the students.
"Build a first-class high school because our kids and our county deserves it, and to become a distinguished school district. Those are my two main goals and everything we do is going to be driven by that," said James.
