FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Update:
Officials say KY 1428 is back open in both directions in Floyd County following a mudslide early Sunday morning
Officials say a mudslide has closed KY 1428 in both directions in Floyd County at mile point 11.4.
The mudslide is between Goble Roberts Bridge and Sugar Loaf.
Officials say no traffic can get through.
Trees are down and crews estimate 10-12 loads will be needed to get the road cleared.
However, the trucks are currently filled with salt. Crews must take salt out of the trucks before they can begin to work.
Crews are working as fast as possible to clear the road.
This is the exact same location of the mudslide on January 5.
