(WYMT) - Good morning! Your Friday features plenty of sunshine and below average temperatures.
Today & Tonight
Friday looks to be a beautiful, crisp fall day with highs only reaching the upper 50s. Fall is here. We will see abundant sunshine for your Friday.
Be sure to grab a jacket if you're going to any festivals or Friday Night Football.
Clouds will start to increase in the evening hours as a weak disturbance approaches the mountains. We could see a couple showers overnight, but any Friday night activities should remain dry. The rain should start after midnight.
Waking up Saturday should be dry, maybe a few leftover clouds still handing around. Those will clear out by mid-morning. We will see mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s.
Lows will dip down into the low 40s.
Sunday will start out dry, but clouds and rain chances from another cold front will increase into the afternoon hours. Rain chances Sunday evening are scattered. Highs Sunday will be about 60 degrees with lows in the low 50s. Temperatures will not chance much due to overnight cloud cover.
The cold front begins to move into the mountains Sunday night into Monday. We will again have a midnight high on Monday, with temperatures dropping through the daytime hours. Rain chances will ramp up, making for a soggy start to the new work and school week.
As for the forecast after that, let's just take it one model run at a time. We'll keep you posted.
