More than a month after his disappearance, family continues searching for missing man

HYDEN, Ky. (WYMT) - Family members say Tyler North was last seen at the end of June.

More than a month later, loved ones continue searching for North.

"We are out every day putting out more flyers or putting together search teams," said North's sister Michelle Brock.

Police said North was last seen driving from Leslie County back to his home in Harlan County.

"We just ask that until he is found people just continue to pray and help search," said Frances Lawson, who is a cousin of North's mother.

About a week after North's disappearance, police found his truck burned in a field. Family members said they have not found any trace of him since the truck.

"Since the beginning, we have searched," said Lawson.

The family is now offering $3,000 for anyone who can bring North home.

"Just as long as someone is able to locate Tyler, that is all we want, " said Brock.

Brock said every day her brother is on her mind.

"He is happy. He loves life and it has been a really long time since I've heard his laugh," said Brock.

Brock said they are not giving up the search.

Anyone with information about North's disappearance can call Kentucky State Police Post 13 at (606) 435-6069.
