(WYMT) - We start the week with mild temperatures but those will continue to increase as we head throughout the work week and into the weekend.
Tonight and Tomorrow
That cold front moved in last night which kept us a little bit cooler today compared to this past weekend. Those mild temperatures do continue tonight with lows dropping into the low to mid-50s with mostly clear skies.
Winds will be calm tonight and tomorrow but they will also be out of the north to northeast. That should keep those temperatures mild tomorrow especially more north. Highs will be in the upper 70s to lower 80s. I think the Cumberland Valley could be a little bit warmer tomorrow as temperatures start to shift due to a warm front moving in. Overnight lows will drop into the lower 60s with mostly clear skies.
A warm front will move in Wednesday which will really only bring us hot temperatures. We look to remain dry Wednesday with highs rebounding into the upper 80s to maybe even 90s in some spots.
This week looks a lot like last, warm temperatures and spotty rain chances. It also looks a lot like a summertime pattern with a few chances for showers and storms. Overall we still remain mostly dry as we head throughout the week and into the weekend.
Highs remain in the upper 80s with lows in the upper 60s throughout the week.
Remember to stay hydrated and keep the sunscreen handy all week long. Keep an eye on your children, pets and the elderly, starting Wednesday and heading toward the weekend.
