Cases against two people accused of killing Kentucky man in Michigan moved to circuit court

FLOWERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WYMT/WWMT) - UPDATE: Tuesday, it was announced cases against two people charged with killing a Kentucky man will move to circuit court.

Michigan Police arrested Tyler McNeil and Kayla Chaney earlier this month.

Police said they killed and robbed Kevin Johnson.

Theron Hunt faces the same charges. His hearing Tuesday was delayed.

Johnson was a semi-truck driver from Floyd County.


Police in Michigan arrested three people in connection with an Eastern Kentucky man's murder.

Tyler McNeil, Kayla Chaney and Theron Hunt are due in court on December 4.

Police believe the trio robbed and killed Kevin Johnson earlier this month at a trailer in Flowerfield Township in Michigan.

Johnson was a truck driver originally from Wheelwright in Floyd County. Family members said he was always smiling, and he loved his family and his dogs.
