Man pleaded not guilty in connection to deadly Bell County hit and run

BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The man charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid pleaded not guilty Monday.

Police said Joshua Darin Ellis hit Adia Fuson on a Bell County road, killing him.

Ellis will appear back in court next Tuesday. Police may reveal more evidence against him then.

Investigators said after hitting Fuson, Ellis and his 15-year-old son left the scene. They charged his son with tampering with physical evidence and put him in a juvenile detention center.
