Woman plans to drop charges against man accused of failing to complete work

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - UPDATE: The woman who filed the complaint tells us Justin Trout actually paid her back the $850.

She plans to drop the charge against Trout during a January 28th hearing in Johnson County District Court.


An Eastern Kentucky man accused of failing to finish a heating and cooling job now faces charges.

On Wednesday, police arrested Justin Trout in Floyd County. The customer filed a complaint in Johnson County.

The woman who filed the complaint said she paid him $850 for a heating unit that never arrived. The woman went more than a month without heat.

Trout faces a charge of theft by failure to make a required disposition.
