Man allegedly goes to unusual lengths to steal gasoline

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A man is accused of going to unusual lengths to steal gas.

Police said Joshua Taylor, 26, of Barbourville drilled a hole in the bottom of a person's car to drain gas from the tank Thursday.

Taylor was arrested Sunday.

While making the arrest, police said they found drugs that included meth on Taylor.

Police charged Taylor with second-degree burglary, first-degree trafficking in meth, third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possessing drug paraphernalia and first-degree criminal mischief.

Taylor was taken to the Knox County Detention Center.
