A man is still in serious condition after he was hit twice by two different cars while walking along a road.
It happened late Saturday night along Mud Fork Road in Verdunville.
The victim is 29-year-old Shane Ramey of Logan. His family tells our sister station WSAZ they've felt overwhelming support from the community since the accident.
According to West Virginia State Police, a drunk driver was the first one to hit Ramey. That collision pushed the man into the other lane where the second car struck him.
The driver of the first car is being charged with a felony DUI causing serious bodily injury.
The driver of the second car won't be facing charges.
