April Young is originally from Beattyville and she had lived in Panama City Beach for a year now.

Young lives on the fifth floor of her apartment building and said, "If we were on the ground I'd be more concerned with flooding, but that's not going to be an issue."

She expects the power could go out for days but says she is preparing for just about anything.

"The bathtubs are full of water, we have bottled water, we've turned the freezers all the way up and we have ice in coolers, non-perishable food, we have camping supplies to cook. We are ready for that part," said Young.
