Kentucky loses to Georgia on last-second 25-yard field goal, 27-24

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) -- Rodrigo Blankenship lined up and kicked a game-winning 25-yard field goal for the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday night to defeat Kentucky, 27--24, inside Commonwealth Stadium.

The Bulldogs used up 2:47 on the clock and drove down the field in eight plays to line up Blankenship for the game-winner.

The Wildcats drop to 5-4 on the season.

Kentucky quarterback Stephen Johnson was 10 of 20 for 103 yards and one touchdown.

Benny Snell Jr. carried the ball 21 times for 114 yards and two touchdowns.
