Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services gets $42 million from U.S. government

(WYMT) - The Cabinet for Health and Family Services is now getting an extra $42 million dollars from the U.S. government.

Department officials said the money will be used to help working parents with young kids.

More families will qualify for child care benefits now and applicants who are full-time students will also be eligible for a work benefit.

These changes are already in effect.
