LEXINGTON, Ky (WYMT)- While Kentucky football gets prepared to host Florida hoping to beat the Gators in Lexington for the first time in 33 years, Coach Cal and UK basketball stole the show Saturday afternoon about 6 hours before kickoff.

Head Coach John Calipari picked up his first top-ranked recruit since Skal Labissiere in 2015.

Wolfeboro, New Hampshire's Terrence Clarke snapped a 0-15 skid on top recruits by accepting Kentucky's offer.

The nation's top SG and overall third-ranked prospect in the 2021 class picked the Wildcats over Boston College, Duke, Kentucky, Memphis, Texas Tech and UCLA.

Clarke could be in Rupp Arena as soon as next season. The current junior is eligible and thinking about reclassifying to the class of 2020.

Kentucky already has the nation's No. 1 recruiting class in 2020 with commitments from 5-star shooting guard BJ Boston Jr., 4-star wing Cam'Ron Fletcher and 4-star power forward Lance Ware.
