KYTC paints orange lines in work zones to warn of construction
You might see more orange as your drive through some work zones.
As part of a pilot program, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is painting orange lines in work zones.
It is one of the first tests in the country to warn drivers about construction.
You will soon see it in work zones on I-75 in Laurel County.
The pilot program also includes painting the speed limit of 55 miles per hour on the highway.
