WHITESBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - Progress was made in the Letcher County murder trial for James Huffman Wednesday.
Officials selected 14 jurors for the case. Two will be alternatives until deliberation begins.
Huffman is accused of stabbing Michael Hogg eight times on New Years Day in 2014 with the help of Patrick Smith.
A police witness was evaluated by officials but does not qualify to testify.
Opening statements will begin Thursday at 9 a.m.
