KNOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - A judge ruled in favor of Cordia and Lotts Creek Community School Thursday.

The injunction sets an indefinite $1 lease per year between LCCS and the Knott County School District.

The court battle started when school district officials tried to close Cordia.

The Benny Ray Bailey law states a settlement school cannot be closed unless there are health concerns, which were discovered but are no longer an issue.

They could still appeal Thursday's ruling.
