LEATHERWOOD, Ky. (WYMT) - Update 7/10:

Officials with the Kentucky River Regional Jail say John David Feltner was found.

Feltner had been on the run since June 6 after walking away from work release in Leatherwood.

An inmate walked off from work release in the Leatherwood community of Perry County Thursday afternoon.

Kentucky River Regional Jail officials said John David Feltner was cutting grass at Arch Halcomb Cemetery and walked away around 4 p.m.

Officials said Feltner is not considered dangerous.

They also said the state determines who is eligible for work release, not the jails themselves.

He was last seen wearing jeans, a white tank top and a gray short-billed ballcap.

Feltner is described as weighing 230 pounds, 5'11", has brown hair and a thick red beard.

He is 34 years old.

Officials said Feltner was seen a short while ago getting into an old green Suburban.

If you see Feltner, call local law enforcement.
