(WYMT) - Good morning! Isolated rain chances are possible for Sunday.
Today will be much like yesterday as far as the forecast goes. There is a slight rain chance in the morning and again in the afternoon. Most of us will remain dry under partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the upper 80s and overnight lows will be in the upper 60s.
The afternoon scattered storm threat continues on Monday and Tuesday with otherwise partly cloudy skies. Temperatures should be just a little cooler thanks to the increased cloud cover from what will be left of Hurricane Barry. Highs will be in the mid 80s, with lows in the upper 60s.
The remnants of Barry will arrive in bulk to the Bluegrass on Wednesday. That's when we will see our best chances of rain with mostly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the mid to lower 80s with lows in the upper 60s. 1-2 inches of rain is expected through the week but isolated higher amounts are possible and could cause localized high water problems.
We will continue to track the tropical remnants and keep you updated.
