I-75 northbound was shut down near Jellico Friday morning after officials said ice contributed to a crash.

The crash was near Exit 157. Four tractor-trailers and four other vehicles were involved.

TDOT Smartway maps were showing a major backup in the area for hours. A second wreck during the afternoon caused a backup for a while in the same area.

The road is back open. No injuries were reported.
