House explosion reported in Knox County

Fire crews responded to a mobile home explosion in Payne Hollow near Bimble Friday night.

People say they heard a loud boom and felt the ground shake.

Dispatchers tell us they do not think anyone was inside the home at the time, but they cannot say for sure without further investigation.

We do not yet know what caused the explosion.
