Hot temperatures continue, humidity increases

By  |

(WYMT) - The heat continues and the humidity increases over the next few days. Stay cool!

Tonight and Thursday
We could see a few rain chances later this afternoon but most of those will be gone by the later evening hours. Tonight highs will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s with partly cloudy skies.

Thursday we will hang onto a few clouds with the possibility of a stray rain chance or two. Most of us do look to remain dry with highs in the lower 90s once again. By the evening hours, we will see mostly clear skies with overnight lows dropping into the upper 60s to lower 70s.

Extended Forecast
A possible cold front will move into the mountains Friday and Saturday which will bring a little bit more rain into the mountains.

Neither day looks like a total washout, but there is a chance for a few scattered showers both days. Highs will remain in the upper 80s to lower 90s with overnight lows in the upper 60s.

Those hot temperatures continue into Sunday, but we look to remain on the drier side that day as well.

It looks like we might see cooler temperatures by the new workweek! Highs look to drop into the low to mid-80s. We'll keep an eye on that trend over the next few days.
