Perry County man faces federal charges in connection to two bank robberies

The trial for a man facing federal charges in connection with two bank robberies is set for March 11.

A grand jury indicted Robert Dale "Bobby" Terry one week ago. He pleaded not guilty Wednesday.

He allegedly took more than $16,000 from Hyden Citizen's Bank in May and more than $3,300 from a bank in Manchester in June.

Terry is the grandson of former Perry County Sheriff Robert Ken Terry.

A Perry County man arrested in connection with two bank robberies now faces federal charges.

A grand jury indicted Robert Dale Terry Thursday.

He allegedly took more than $16,000 from Hyden Citizen's Bank in May and more than $3,300 from a bank in Manchester in June.

From court documents, we learned he claimed he committed the robberies to fuel his drug habit.

Arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday.
