Several Goody's locations in Eastern Kentucky will convert to Gordmans early next year.

Company officials say there are plans to switch stores in Hazard, Harlan, Somerset and London early next year.

The Goody's in Pikeville is converting to Gordmans this fall. A grand opening is planned for September 17th.

We received this statement from Blakeley Graham, the manager of Brand Publicity:

"Both Goody's and Gordmans are part of the Stage community of stores. Gordmans is an off-price retailer, which means that it has a wide array of merchandise for the entire family at the lowest possible prices compared to department stores. Gordmans, which has been delighting shoppers for more than 100 years, has fresh new merchandise deliveries arriving weekly; there will always be something new to discover when it comes to popular name brand apparel, home décor, footwear, gifts, accessories, fragrances and more for the whole family.
