Golden Alert issued for missing Clay County man

London Police have issued a Golden Alert for William Wolfe from Clay County.

LONDON, Ky. (WYMT)- London Police have issued a Golden Alert for 35-year-old William D. Wolfe of Manchester, Ky.

Wolfe was last seen by his mother, Betty Lewis, at 3 a.m. on Friday, May 17th in the parking lot of the Saint Joseph London KentuckyOne Health.

Lewis said that Wolfe made a suicidal comment, he asked her to call the police before saying he would walk along I-75 and hitchhike to Florida.

London Police were dispatched to assist in the search, but could not find Wolfe.

Wolfe has an injured ankle, brown hair, blue eyes, a goatee, is 5' 10" tall, 150lbs, a tattoo of a cross on his right shoulder and was last seen wearing black shorts, grey shoes, and no shirt. He is medically unstable, has PTSD, has had a traumatic brain injury, and is on medications.
