(WYMT) - Appalachian Regional Healthcare is named one of the top 10 employers in Kentucky.
That is according to Forbes Magazine and Statista, a global market research company.
Thousands of employees were surveyed on criteria such as salary, atmosphere and working conditions.
ARH ranked ninth on the list. It is the largest employer in southeastern Kentucky and serves 350,000 people in Kentucky and West Virginia.
"We are very excited to rank number nine on the Forbes list, especially since the results were determined by our employees. From the top down, our people strive to make ARH a great place to work and I'm happy to see it's paying off,” said ARH President and CEO Joe Grossman. “We are proud of our team and all they do to take care of their patients and each other. Now our next steps will be to set our sights on moving up the list as we continue to grow our family of employees."
