Benjamin Brewer went missing Aug. 6 and has not been seen for almost three weeks. Darlene Campbell, Brewer’s Aunt, said that he used to always call his sister, but she has not heard from him since Aug. 6.
"He keeps in touch with her more and she hadn't heard from him in a couple of weeks and we got really concerned about him and she came home and that's when we started searching for him and couldn’t find him,” said Brewer.
Family and friends are not the only ones who miss him. Campbell said Oz, a 4-year-old mixed breed dog, was one of Brewer’s best friends and misses him too.
“Oz misses Ben. Ben is one of Oz's best friends, he loves him,” said Campbell. "Oz jumps in his lap and gives him kisses all over his face and Ben can hardly breathe without getting dog kisses because Oz loves him so and he misses him, he wants him to come home."
Campbell said now she just wants a sign that her nephew is safe.
"We're just really concerned and real crushed that he may be hurt somewhere and nobody knows where he is," said Campbell. "We just want to know that he's okay.”
Police said that they have received some tips and have followed each one they have received. Kentucky State Police Post 13 said if you have any information to call them at 606-435-6069.
