Fallen power lines cause Harlan County school buses to run behind

HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Some Harlan County students who ride the bus home will be late Tuesday afternoon.

Due to fallen power lines and a downed tree on KY 38 in the Closplint/River Ridge area, school officials said buses in the upper Clover Fork area will run late.

Students who live past the problem area will be held at school. School officials expect a minimum of a two-hour delay before the road is safely reopened.
