Kristopher Bentley and Jamerson are well known across Kentucky, particularly for their hit single "Home".
Jamerson said when he and Bentley started Sundy Best they never dreamed their career would take them where they did.
"The whole Sundy Best experience opened my eyes I think to the beauty of what the world can be because I've just experienced so much," said Jamerson.
From the Grand Ole Opry, to the Ryman Auditorium the memories are endless, but the group's time together is over.
"Yeah, I mean it's something that we had decided to go our separate ways months ago," said Jamerson.
During the Johnson County flooding of 2015, the duo returned home to perform a benefit concert for the victims, raising thousands of dollars.
"I have learned so much during my time playing and working with Kris," wrote Jamerson. "I want to thank him for all of his heart that he put into SB from day one."
Jamerson said he is settled in Prestonsburg and hopes to use his experiences to help artists in Eastern Kentucky.
"I'm just trying to give myself to the community I think that I've been very fortunate, Kris and I both, to be put in a position to have a platform to kind of be an example of what's possible growing up here," said Jamerson.
Jamerson said fans should stick around because both he and Bentley are not done with music just yet.
