PIKEVILLE, KY. (WYMT) - Dueling Barrels is celebrating one year of distilling and brewing in downtown Pikeville.
The Second Street fixture hosted its "Birthday Bash" Friday night, inviting the community to celebrate with live music, food, games and more.
Dueling Barrels partnered with the City of Pikeville and some of the local shops to extend the party onto the streets.
Clay Christian, visitors' center and taproom manager, said the event is a family-friendly way to spend Friday night.
"We're going to have some giant Jenga and checkers and cornhole and stuff out here," he said. "So, pretty much something to do for the whole family."
At 5 p.m., Second Street closed to traffic to allow community members to shop and "party in the street."
Organizers scheduled Bek and the Starlight Revue to perform live music at 7 p.m.
