Dry weather sticks around for a few more days

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT)- Quiet weather is on tap for the next few days across the mountains!

Tonight & Sunday
High pressure remains in control of weather pattern for the next couple of days. With it comes clear skies, and calm weather. Overnight lows the next couple of nights will be near 60 with highs on Sunday near 80.

Early Work Week
Monday and Tuesday remain dry across the mountains with plenty of sunshine. A nice southerly breeze will begin to increase our temperatures compared to what we've seen this weekend. Lows will be in the mid-60s with highs in the mid-80s on Monday and near 90 on Tuesday.

Extended Forecast

The pattern changes a bit as we head into Wednesday. A weak cold front will dive towards the Ohio Valley and help spawn a few showers or thunderstorms that will enter the region. HIghs will be in the middle 80s with lows in the mid to upper 60s. We should catch a break from the action on Thursday, with rain returning on Friday and Saturday.
